OUR STORY
At GoMatcha, we’re not just about matcha – we’re about connection, balance, and simplicity. Our journey began long before we became a brand. It first started with my own personal journey.
It all began during my time as a student , struggling with fatigue, consuming endless coffees, and feeling out of touch with my body and mind. A lucky encounter with a cup of ceremonial-grade matcha at a cafe sparked a newfound sense of energy and clarity.
From there, matcha became my daily ritual. I learned how to prepare it properly, discovered its rich history, and fell in love with its unique energy. That simple habit transformed my lifestyle – I began paying more attention to what my body needed, moving more, and embracing small, consistent steps toward better health.
BUT something always bothered me. I noticed so many people (including me) struggled with its convenience, accessibility, and affordability. Most of the matcha I found in shops was overpriced, low-quality, or drowned in sugar. I began to wonder, “Is there a ready-to-drink matcha latte that’s made with real, high-quality matcha and no nasty ingredients?”
The answer? There wasn’t.
And thats why in February 2023, I founded GoMatcha.
THE DRINK
Creating our Ready-to-Drink Matcha Latte was a labor of love. It took two years to perfect, but I refused to compromise. I wanted it to be everything a matcha latte should be:
- Made with vibrant, ceremonial-grade matcha sourced from a small, family-owned farm in Uji, Japan.
- Blended with oat milk for creaminess, without any refined sugars, artificial additives, or “fillers.”
- Convenient, accessible, and affordable – so more people can enjoy matcha without the hassle.
This drink is everything I dreamed of: smooth, delicious, and packed with all the incredible benefits of matcha. It launches in March 2025, and I can’t wait for you to try it.
OUR MATCHA POWDER
While working on the drink, I realized there was another gap in the market. As someone who had been buying matcha powders for years, I struggled to find a brand that truly resonated with me. Many felt either overly girly and playful (not my vibe) or too traditional and intimidating. And let’s be honest – most didn’t even taste great.
So, I created our Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder with a clear vision in mind:
